2012 Wisconsin Regional Team
Brian Janssen - Team Manager - Cat 2 RoadBrian joined the Colavita team in 2010 and has now stepped up to manage the team. He races the Wisconsin Cup, Tour of America's Dairyland, Superweek and many other regional stage races in both the Masters and Elite categories.
Matt Yeakey - Cat 2 Road
Matt formed the Colavita Wisconsin Regional Cycling team in 2009. Matt focuses his racing efforts on the road where he races Masters 40+ in the Wisconsin Cycling Association's (WCA) Wisconsin Cup and other regional road events.
For 2012, Chris will be on the road by racing various WCA races, and possibly a couple of races on the Minnesota calendar. A couple of WORS races will probably also find their way onto the schedule - good fun and good training.
Chris Owen - Cat 4/5 Road Chris comes to the team with a triathlon past. Although Chris will still compete in tri's this year, you'll also see him at choice road races.
James had a terrific 2010 road season bringing home the silver medal in the 2010 Wisconsin State Criterium Championship Masters 35+ 4/5. We are hopng for big things in 2012!
Jeff Fox - Cat 4/5 RoadJeff is currently recovering from knee surgery and we expect a full return to the peloton for 2012. Jeff brings a passion for health and wellness to the team and has a simple goal for the year...stay out front. Go Jeff!
Alan Ziolkowski - Cat 2 RoadAlan is a regular at many Wisconsin Cup races as well as Regional stage races and is looking to his most successful season to date in 2012.
Thom Falter - Cat 3 RoadThom joined the team in 2010 and is a veteran in the sport. Thom will be looking to amp it up a notch this year.
Josh Weis - Cat 4 Road/Cat 3 Cross
Josh is new to racing for 2011 and is showing some real promise. He has upgraded to Cat 3 in his first year of Cyclocross and has had multiple top 10 finishes this year. He is a "raw" talent that we look forward to helping to develop into a top level competitor.
