2010 Wisconsin Regional Team Roster
Matt formed the Colavita Wisconsin Regional Cycling team in 2009. Matt focuses his racing efforts on the road where he races Masters 40+ in the Wisconsin Cycling Association's (WCA) Wisconsin Cup and other regional road events.
Shawn is a recovering running now competing exclusively on two wheels. He started racing in the WORS mountain bike series but now concentrates on cyclocross and dabbles on the road.
Ben is coming off a great 2008 race season where he took the gold in the WCA State Championship Criterium in the Masters 3/4 race.
Tim will be ripping it up on the road this year wearing the red and green of Team Colavita Wisconsin.
For 2010, Chris will be looking for an upgrade to Cat 4 on the road by racing various WCA races, and possibly a couple of races on the Minnesota calendar. A couple of WORS races will probably also find their way onto the schedule - good fun and good training.
Rusten represents the team from the roads of Waukesha. You'll see Rusten kicking it on the road during WCA events and other regional road races.
Chris Owen - Cat 4/5 Road
Chris comes to the team with a triathlon past. Although Chris will still compete in tri's this year, you'll also see him at choice road races.
Brooks Leedahl - Cat 2 Cyclocross, Cat 4 Road
Brooks is an accomplished cyclocross racer taking the 2006 WCA Cat 3 championship. Like most of the Colavita Wisconsin Regional team riders, Brooks will also make appearances on the road competing in WCA and other regional events.
James is the newest member of the Colavita Wisconsin team. James competes on the hard stuff (re: road) and resides in De Pere.
Max is a top notch roadie notching very impressive 2009 results in many midwest Pro1-2 races. Look out for Max in 2010!
Jeff is new to Colavita for 2010 and he brings his passion for health and wellness to the team. Jeff has a simple goal for the year...stay out front. Go Jeff!
Alan is also new to the Colavita Wisconsin regional race team. Alan is a regular at many Wisconsin and Midwest road races and is looking to go big in 2010.
Thom is yet another promising, new rider to the team in 2010. Thom has raced for many years but will be looking to amp it up a notch this year.
Another Colavita newbie for 2010, Brian is looking for big results this year with a goal of top five overall (Masters 1/2/3 35+) in the ToAD and Superweek events. That blur of green, red, and white...yea that was Brian passing you!
